Deep Sea Reverse Osmosis System
- The deep sea reverse osmosis system is designed to harness the Potential energy of the sea for the Reverse Osmosis Process
- The system is to be installed 300-400m deep in the Sea to eliminate the Sea water pump used in commercial and industrial level reverse osmosis plants to pump water at 30-40 bar. Thereby reducing electricity consumption considerably
- This system can be used in municipal applications, process industries, etc.
- Reduces power consumption to about 2-2.5 kWh/m3 by using the Hydrostatic energy of seawater.
- This system is presently under POC (Proof of Concept) Stage of the project and is most likely to be tested in South Korea
