The objective of the trial is to evaluate the performance of the new platform system developed for C130 aircraft.
The platform was dropped from C130 to evaluate the performance of the platform and the parachute system.
The platform was heavily instrumented with IMU, GPS, several accelerometers at various locations, pressure sensors for airspeed as well as strain gauges for strain and load estimation on the platform as well as the payload.
